As a recent counseling graduate stepping into this new chapter of my career, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to support others as they continue to grow and heal. I am originally from rural Virginia, but have lived in South Carolina and Florida before officially settling here in North Carolina.
Each move and every person I have met along the way has deepened my appreciation for connection and the courage it takes to grow. I believe we’re all doing the best we can with what we have, and that healing begins through compassion, curiosity, and genuine understanding.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a passion for helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from Appalachian State University and have experience supporting children, teens, and young adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
My passion for counseling began through my own personal experiences and from helping others process their emotions through various opportunities. These moments began small yet meaningfully, through my years as a writing tutor and nanny, and grew as I served as a peer counselor in college, later completing two counseling internships, located in a variety of school based settings. Each of these experiences showed me how powerful it can be to feel truly heard and understood, and they shaped my desire to create a space for others to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
